Skin Fair 2015: PXL & elymode

Its still almost all about skins (and makeups) for me right now, though I did slip into a dress this time since the body is one I have featured in the past. This face from PXL is all new, however, and I paired it with some makeups from elymode, all from the Skin Fair which is now open.

Aeryn is the new release from PXL and she is available at the Skin Fair in four tones (I am showing Olive here, which is the darkest one so far for this range). There are four lipstick variants available and you can buy this as singles or as a pack. With your skin you get 3 regular eyebrows on the skin and a pair of tintable tattoo layer eyebrows to go with the no brows skin (which I am actually wearing here, along with one of the excellent brows from alaskametro for the Skin Fair). You also get freckle tattoos and mole tattoos and there’s a range of appliers available (including for PXL’s own SweetLips product).

Aeryn seemed to suit a range of shapes, from quite sweet and girly to a bit stronger and more mature. I think it is a lovely face overall, and I am particularly fond of the detailing around the eyes. The cheeks of the Olive tone do perhaps get a tiny bit too reddish, but I do like that the skin has a distinct cheek shading.

The vibrant green eyeshadow as well as the strawberry tattoo on my arm are two of elymode’s releases for the Skin Fair. The eyeshadow is leaf green and slate combo from the Lustra Duo collection. There’s also a single-colour Lustra Solo collection, a Spring Mix and the Basic Cat in darks and brights. They are all crisp and pixel perfect, as are the two tattoos—the strawberries shown here and the sunflowers. And, if you wear Slink Visage, then you will be pleased to know that you can also get the makeups for the mesh head, which shows them off in even better quality.

The beautiful green gown is the latest Faida & Fallen Gods collaboration. Circe, released for The Countdown Room’s Seven Deadly Sins round, is a collection with a sinful edge and tons of options. Each colour comes with a HUD that allows you to choose between different textures for the top, the corset and the skirt. You can also turn off any of these parts and wear a second colour, allowing you to mix and match sections from different colours. I am wearing Greed (black) together with Pride (green).

And, since you can turn any of the sections off, you could also wear a single dress and just turn off the top for a topless option. Always handy. ;)

The hair is Take from Magika and I am, as usual, wearing Slink Physique and Slink hands & feet. The poses are modified versions of some Alchemy Immortalis poses. The trees in the background are the orchard trees from Dysfunctional Designs.
