Otherworldly

For the current round of Redeux (which ends tomorrow), Del-ka Aedilis has released the first building in their new Medici series. As the name suggests, this series will have a Renaissance feel but it will also suit various types of fantasy roleplay. The Townhouse Cosimo is perhaps primarily intended for city builds, but I liked the idea of setting it up as a secluded manor house. Ideally, I would have wanted matching stone walls and a more elaborate garden, but that will have to be for later on. As it is, I think it turned out very romantic, a perfect place for a secret rendezvous.

Portal has a couple of historical gowns out and for this photo I am wearing Beatrice, which consists of a sleeveless overgown and a patterned undergown. My hair is from F&M Oblivion.

Ran is wearing a tunic and pants from Stitched and a new shape for LeLutka Connor that we’ll be releasing soon. The beautiful fountain as well as the rose planters are from Lacrime dell’Anima.

I really the way the Townhouse Cosimo looks. The texturing both inside and outside is very nicely done and very well researched. The balconies and the little portico add to the charm of the house.

The size is, as always, large for my avatar, but given how tight the inside space is since it is done in a very period-appropriate way, it does make sense.
