Otherworldly

Like an Egyptian

A new round of We Love Role-Play is just around the corner and for my first post for the July round I am heading to Egypt—or something very much like it, anyway—courtesy of Kalopsia’s awesome Sand of Time set. Also from the July round is the toga from !gO! and the jewellery from Bliensen + MaiTai.

The Sand of Time set contains three different pyramids, three different statues and two sets of palm trees, perfect for setting up an Egyptian-inspired area. You’ll need quite a bit of space to use it all, though, since some of the pyramids are quite large. But they are also mod and copy, so you can size them down if you want. One of the pyramids can be entered and could be used to setup a scene inside of it.

The toga from !gO! worked pretty well with the Physique mesh body, at least at size medium and with this particular shape. I quite like the texturing of it and I think it went nicely with the sandals from Pure Poison that I picked up a while ago.

The Voluta necklace and earrings from Bliensen + MaiTai are a simple but effective design of spirals which I think really capture certain types of historical metal work. Very nice and versatile.

A more undressed shot to finish off since I am wearing the brand new Physique appliers from PXL, here in the Olive tone and with the Faith skin. I had been waiting eagerly for those since the release of Physique and they do not disappoint. The appliers include both the Physique body and the hands and the feet from Slink, so no need to load up several different applier huds. You also get a choice between small breasts or normal breasts as well as with and without body freckles.

This pose marks the first time that I had to do a tiny bit of editing of the mesh body around the knees, but I think that is always going to be avoidable given shape differences.

My hair is Wasabi Pills latest release for FaMESHed, Ellie, and I am wearing mesh eyes from Mayfly and the Safira eyeshadow and liner from Senzafine. The poses are a mix of Musa and oOo Studios.
