I recently reread Judith Tarr’s Alamut (which I cannot recommend enough if you like history, fantasy and romance) and it put me in the mood to do some desert scenes. Fortunately, Aisling and Bliensen+MaiTai had just the right items out at We Love Role-Play.
The gorgeous Irina veil from Aisling comes in a wide range of sizes to fit different heads, bodies and hairs. It also comes with a HUD that gives you the choice between plain or lace fabric (this is lace) and a range of colour options for the inside and the outside. Its beautifully modelled and textured.
The veil with the coin jewellery by Bliensen+MaiTai is called Salome and it would certainly fit right in if you wanted to do your own dance of the seven veils. There are colour and opacity options for the veil and metal options for the coins, all neatly controlled by a HUD.
I love how the veil makes my eyes from Mayfly stand out as well as my FATElashes. The textures in version 2 are so versatile.
The gown I am wearing is Sweet Water in black & silver, another of the fitmesh re-releases by the Muses. The fit is gorgeous on Slink Physique. My hair is Truth’s Dune, in the black from the Variety pack.
