Alchemy Immortalis are back. While their beautiful sims have not returned with them, they have opened up an in-world shop once again, and already there is a huge new release available—a massive collection of Art Deco inspired rings. There are few things as hard as rings to do justice in a photo, so please make sure to take a look at the rings in their store where they have been rezzed out and can be viewed in amazing, intricate detail. What I will try to do in this post, however, is to tell you a bit about them (as well as the other items featured in these shots).
But lets start with the rings. The Gatsby Collection includes 29 stunning mesh rings which can be purchased individually, as a fatpack of all rings (at a 60% discount) or in a smaller pack of 6 rings particularly suited for men (at a 50% discount). The latter pack is the one Ran picked up and in this shot he’s wearing the Buchanan, a ring which really captures the Art Deco style.
He is also wearing the Peak Tuxedo from Deadwool, available at the Mens Only Monthly event, and we’re seated on the Mischa Lounger from Trompe Loeil with the Mischa Ethereal Islands in the background (both items available at Uber). The islands, which can either be set into the ground or left floating, are a beautiful, romantic landscape with lights, floral arrangements and classical balustrades.
I am also wearing one of the rings from the collection, and while it was included in the pack for men (the rings are sold transfer, which I sometimes have mixed feelings about but it is certainly good for larger packs), the Caraway is easily worn by a woman as well. The pearl has a stunning shine to it.
My gown is the Mahva Dress in Blush from the Plastik, available at the mainstore in standard sizes as well as fitted sizes for some mesh bodies, such as Slink Physique.
The Fleur hair from Clawtooth is part of this round of the Arcade and my skin, which will be more closely featured soon, is an upcoming Skin Fair exclusive from Adam n Eve. The first poses are part of the lounger whereas the second is a couple pose from oOo Studios.
