That white box Squid is holding contains haggis. Haggis is disgusting in description. Haggis is disgusting in appearance. However, it is apparently not disgusting in one’s mouth. Or so say certain crazy people, like cteresa (who is taking one of the pictures).
As to why the haggis is present? A quest! Every worldcon for the last several years, George sends out new members of the BwB on a quest to retrieve something (so far, always food-related) unique to the place where the con might be happening. This year, it was haggis. Haggis!
