A picture of the large crowd at the Chicago in 2008 bid party. This one was excellent, thanks to the spread of candies, gum, Oreos(!), and—especially—"Chicago-style" hot dogs. Yum! The greeters had the interesting idea of giving people name tags, but between hearing the guest’s name and sticking the tag on them things somehow changed. For example, I became known as "Mushie". Why? I don’t know, but it was a great conversation starter.
