Let it Snow

Botanical has released a really cool weather system that handles both snow and rain. After checking it out, Ran agreed with me that it would make a lovely addition to the sim, so now we have it setup for rain in one section and snow across our little northern island. That seemed like the perfect place to show off one of the Chyll skins by the Plastik as well as some of their latest jewellery.

The lingerie is Luxuria’s Ophelia, now out on several colours for the 20Twenty event. I picked the white to stay with the frosty theme. The heels are the Lucy heels by lassitude & ennui.

The frost-bitten Chyll skins were released for The Liaison Collaborative and come in five tones which all have hints of red to play with the idea of a wintry chill. The amount of appliers included with these skins is quite incredible and you should be able to wear them with a very wide variety of mesh body parts.

The Crais necklace is out now for Shiny Shabby. It combines a cord with a beautiful branch-inspired centrepiece where numerous little diamonds sparkle. The necklace comes with a HUD to give you a wide range of texture options.

Finally, a shot of our wintry woods (using the pine forest from Studio Skye and the Lofoten Permafrost ice blocks by Fanatik) with a dense snowfall courtesy of Botanical’s new weather system. You have a choice between rain or snow and there are three intensities for each. You also have the choice of having sound on or off.

The system was really quick and easy to setup and comes with excellent instructions for how to limit the weather to certain areas and how to change either all stations at once or only stations with a certain radius from you. The system also ties into the seasonal system for other Botanical products.

The hair is by Analog Dog and the poses are from various oOo Studios set.
