Otherworldly

Lady Angharad

Evangeline Miles of Evie’s Closet has returned to creating for Second Life after a bit of a hiatus. Before the advent of mesh, her flexi gowns stood out from the crowd as she always managed to give them an ethereal feel. It is not easy to translate that to mesh, but I think that the textures and colours of her latest release capture some of that quality. There’s almost a feeling of watercolours over the texturing, and that gives the gown a lovely flow that suggests movement.

The Angharad gown is available at the current round of We Love Role-Play at a 30% discount and in six different colours, with the one shown here being the grey. It comes in fitted mesh for both Slink bodies as well as a fitted mesh which works with other mesh bodies but isn’t specific to any of them. Additionally, there are four standard sizes. The belt is available for free at the event, though unlike the dress it is not fitted, but it is modifiable.

The beautiful medieval hair with its veil, circlet and hairnet is another We Love Role-Play release, this one from Calico. It comes in quite a few versions, such as with an opaque or a sheer veil and with or without the accessories shown here. There’s also an accessory hud for colouring the pieces, though here I have actually opted for a white veil that I then tinted manually to match the gown.
