Lootbox is opening today and I am giving you a taste of two new releases you will find there, from deviousMind and Luxuria. As usual, the Lootbox gacha will include lootbox rares that offer things like whole item sets, special item sets and so on, rather than just single rare items. I’ve paired the Lootbox items with a new hair release from Wasabi and a skin from the massive new skin collection at the Plastik. I also want to give everyone a heads-up about a price reduction for some of my favourite mesh heads, namely the LightStar heads.

Starting with one of the Lootbox items, I am wearing the Yume dress from deviousMind, a Chinese-inspired fantasy dress. This is one of the commons and it is all in one piece, so you don’t need to worry about not being able to use what you win. The lootboxes include special Panda and Koi pattern dresses with matching parasols, as well as a set of parasols to match all the common dresses.

The other Lootbox release, which you can see in both the first and second shot, is the Steampunk Tattoo from Luxuria. I love the detail in this set, which makes it look like your skin has opened up in places to show the mechanical parts below. Each common item is a full tattoo set and the rares include some cool variants, such as a keyhole in your back.

The gorgeous Moon hair from Wasabi is available at Rewind and includes an optional flower attachment not worn here. I really like how it looks together with the Elvenne skin from the Plastik, here worn on the Athena head from LightStar. The Elvenne collection includes over 90 tones for both male and female avatars and as always just about every type of applier is supported. There are of course many fantasy tones but also more natural tones.

And yes, the LightStar bento mesh heads are now just L$1000 each, which is a steal. There are 8 male and 8 female heads, so if you have hesitated about a bento mesh head and would like something a little different from what everyone else has, do check these out.
