LivejournalI’ve spent the last week heavily immersed in A Dance with Dragons, despite actually reading the book some months ago. No wonder, then, that I was more than in the mood for this dragon-inspired dress from sachi Vixen of Adam n Eve, who happens to have become hooked on A Song of Ice and Fire and Game of Thrones.
I am also wearing a hair from the new Point B range, with all new textures and colours.
The dragonskin dress from Adam n Eve, here in a lovely green, comes with a pretty darn awesome sculpted collar and a sculpted belt attached to the skirt (but easily edited separately for a perfect fit). As can be seen here, the dress is rather sheer. But never fear, if you prefer not to show quite so much you can wear the included bra and panties beneath. The bra even comes in two options, one with both breasts covered and one with one bared, loosely inspired by a style of gown from A Clash of Kings.
The hair is called Tavern and this colour is Punch. Its a two-part hair that mixes flexi and sculpts, using more of the latter than the regular Analog Dog line.
I really like the mix of realism and almost painterly qualities to the Point B range textures. I also think the mix of sculpting and flexi works quite well, even if I am very fond of the original line too. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more entries in the new range.
Point B offers a huge number of colours compared to the original range and overall it looks really good (I couldn’t resist the very well-priced fatpack). Personally, I lean towards prefering the reds of the original range as these are cooler, bluer reds, but that is really a personal preference.
I am once again wearing Magpie, the new skin from Nomine, and it has now been released so you can get your own copy. Do make sure to try a demo, I am really loving this face.
