The Earth Dress

I’ve followed the creation of Naergilien Wunderlich‘s Earth Dress on Plurk over the last weeks, so when given the chance to showcase it, of course I said yes. And fortunately, just as I was setting up to take the photos, Truth released a new hair that matched it perfectly. I like when things come together nicely.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Portia Tone 1 Baroque by Adam n Eve
Hair: Anette Snow by Truth
Clothes: Earth Dress by Wunderlich's
Accessories: Samara Grey/Blue Adam n Eve

Not only is the Earth Dress, made for Naergilien for Earth Day, a really nifty sculpted design with some lovely, realistic fabric draping showcased, but it also has a feature that you can’t see in this image: the textures are animated. There’s lightning, waves and jumping wales, and it looks pretty amazing as you move around, turning you into some kind of elemental goddess.

The dress can be worn with and without the sleeves (and if the sleeves are worn, you can choose to wear the right with an AO included to make sure the arms are held in a good position when you stand or move) and it includes invisiprims around the torso as well as a clothing layer beneath to cover you up if someone takes off prim rendering. ;) The shoulder drape is one of my favourite parts, fluttering out behind you as you walk like it is carried on its own wind.

To see the dress in action, check out this video made by Naergilien.

The hair, as mentioned, is one of this weeks new releases from Truth. More of those great new flexis and a nice fall over one shoulder that I can see myself making a lot of use of. The skin is the blond-browed version of Portia from Adam n Eve, which is one of the prettiest and most shape-friendly skins I have. This shape, though, is one created by mespecifically for the skin and it is on sale at Adam n Eve.
