On the Hunt

My Internet play time is currently being eaten up in large chunks by roleplaying, so hunting down new clothes and accessories in SL has had to take a backseat. Indeed, even when a review copy lands in my lap it takes me rather long to get a look together and photos done, especially since my trusty photographer (that’d be Ran) is even busier with roleplay. But, we’ve got a king to murder, and that doesn’t happen every week, so that’s how it goes.

However, today I did manage to get something done with a recent release from Sascha’s Designs, the sexy and sassy Tally Hoo set.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Siren Tone 3 Mossy by Adam n Eve
Hair: Tyra Black by ETD
Clothes: Tally Hoo Black Belt by Sascha's Designs
Accessories: Top Hat & Cane Dark Red by Sascha's Designs, Davarriale Necklace by Exodi and Tia Crimson by Adam n Eve

While Sascha’s Designs might be most well-known for ballgowns, she also has some nice pantsuits and similar outfits on offer. As with the ballgowns, they often come with a lot of options, and Tally Hoo is no exception. There are several jackets, two shirts (black and white), several pant options, one skirt option and assorted prim pieces. The top hat and the cane are sold separately, and are available in several different colours.

I quite liked the way the pants are done and the cut of the jacket, though I think some of the prim pieces are a little less succesful; the collars are a little flat texture-wise and the prim ruffles had some alpha issues (though with white that is hard to get away from). The shadow edging on the jacket may be a little strong as well, though that is more a matter of preference. Overall I like the silhouette and the attitude of the set, and its versatility means you can get several different feels from it.

Apart from wearing the outfit with the top hat & cane, I added a necklace from Exodi and the crimson Tia boots from Adam n Eve. The skin is also from Adam n Eve (Siren) and the stylish updo is ETD.
