I have been blogging fairly infrequently lately, in part because I have been busy with other things than shopping in SL (like…bunnies) and work in RL, in part because I have started to feel rather bored by the process and the results. So, I have decided to start testing some new approaches. I’ll definitely be messing with the picture format, and perhaps also with the writing and the credits. I hope to redesign the website this summer and after that facelift I am thinking of emptying out the blog and starting fresh with whatever approach I like best.

But, enough with such ramblings, just expect things to be in a fluid state for a while. For now, on with a look at an ethereal white creation by Silent Sparrow, some lovely new jewelry from Dark Mouse and one of the latest Exile hairs. I am also featuring poses from Glitterari, picked up at the awesome sale going on there right now.

All-white creations from hyasynth Tiramisu are quite rare. But when she gives in and does them, she does them beautifully, as seen here with the Eruanna dress. There’s a wonderful delicacy to the patterns on this dress and the layering of the skirt is quite divine.

I’ve paired the dress with one of the jewelry sets from the Etheria event, the Fae set by Dark Mouse in copper. It has a lovely, organic feel to it, like it grew into existence. The silver version would, admittedly, have fit this dress even better, but I went shopping at Etheria a week ago. Its just languished in my inventory until now, as a result of my blogging dilemma.

The gently wind-swept hair is Leslie from Exile, which fits certain in-motion poses and angles really well. I quite like how its a bit sleeker than some other Exile styles.

The beautiful Eruanna dress comes with a good range of options. There’s a jacket that can be worn over the corset, and sleeves to go with it. The corset comes with and without the buttons on the side and in both an overbust and an underbust version. There’s bloomers to go beneath the skirt and panties to wear just with the corset for an adorable lingerie look.

The skin, btw, is from Blowpop and it remains a favourite of mine. Can you believe it is fully hand-painted?

The “on location” shot was taken on the beautiful Revelations sim where Ran and I live on a little island and where we also raise our growing herd of bunnies. But anyone can drop by and take photos there, since it allows for objects to be rezzed and has a 10-minute auto-return. There are some really gorgeous spots, and I expect to make more use of it if I do stick with the idea of mixing studio shots with these kinds of shots.

I have some other things I’ll be trying out as well, though.
