LivejournalAmong the hairs I’ve picked up at Hair Fair so far is a great new style from one of my favourite designers, Queue Marlowe of Analog Dog. But until yesterday I couldn’t quite decide what to wear with it. Then Evangeline Miles of Evie’s Closet released Ren and that was it.

Starting with the hair, Bam! features a glossy fall of curls pulled back from one shoulder and over the other. This style uses an optional additional piece worn on the spine and I am currently in love with these kinds of styles. More, please, is all I can say.
I can’t help but to point out once again that Analog Dog has really great colour packs; the dark pack has gorgeous reds and blacks and then there’s also a new light blonde hair with some whites to die for.

And what about this lovely outfit? Ren’s a bit of a special dress, available both as a pretty, pristine “wench” dress (used in the first image, though you don’t see the skirt there) and in various stages of distress. You have your long, messy skirt as shown here…

...and a shorter messy skirt. There’s actually an even shorter version too, for when the whole of the skirt has been shredded while fighting off pirates or perhaps just other shoppers at the Hair Fair.

As an extra bonus there’s also a pristine but sheer top, for those extra naughty wenches.
The texturing and the prims are, as usual, top notch. Particularly impressive are the messy skirts, which really look like a well-made skirt that has seen better days. And the neckline is fabulous.
Ren is sold both in a complete pack of all options (go for it) or in smaller packs. Bam! is of course only available at the Hair Fair for now.
