Audrey’s Underwear

I can’t say I am a big fan of lingerie in RL. Or rather, I like how it looks but I often find it terribly uncomfortable. Fortunately, that is not an issue in SL, allowing me to indulge in such lovely sets as the latest releases from Insolence and Zaara. My skin is also a new release, yet another beautiful creation from Tuli, and I’ve picked out two recent hairs from Exile to go with it all.

Skin: Audrey Tone 3 Copper 07 with Dark 8 Matte by Tuli
Hair: Dani Auburn by Exile
Clothes: Elsa White by Insolence
Poses: Reel Expression

The Elsa set from Insolence is light, lacey and very feminine, with beautifully executed textures. It comes with all the pieces separate and on multiple layers, allowing you to wear panties and garters together or just one or the other. Included is also stockings in several colours.

The hair worn here is Dani in Auburn; its a rather 80’s style with all the layering, so of course I couldn’t resist it. SL doesn’t give you the problem of having to grow out those layers again, after all. ;)

Skin: Audrey Tone 3 Copper 07 with Dark 5 Gloss by Tuli
Hair: Agyness Auburn by Exile
Clothes: Sumana Ebony by Zaara
Poses: Reel Expression

Bolder but still very romantic is the Sumana set from Zaara, here seen in Ebony. The floral print is beautifully done and the cut and composition of this set features a lot of little intricate details such as the cut-out on the panties and the crinkling of the belt. Layer options are provided here as well, allowing you to wear the set in a few different ways, and one set of stockings are included.

This hair is called Agyness and the colour is once again Auburn. I like the asymmetry as well as the drama of this style.

Skin: Audrey Tone 3 Copper 07 with Dark 1 Gloss by Tuli
Hair: Agyness Auburn by Exile
Poses: Reel Expression

Audrey, Tuli’s latest offering, comes in four tones and ten base makeups which are basically just different eye makeups. In addition to that, each skin bought includes 24 add-on lip colours on the new tattoo layer. You get light and dark colours and you get them matte or glossy. That is a lot of possible variations. The skin also includes other customization options on tattoo and clothing layers such as two kinds of cleavage boosters and also drawn lashes.

Audrey is a beautiful, refined skin that perhaps won’t appeal to those looking for a very high level of photorealism but which works very well on a number of skins thanks to how it is shaded. The degree of contrast featured on face and body is of a medium strength and it is well matched all over.

I remain indecisive about how to approach reviews in the future. While I am enjoying location shots more than studio shots right now, I do find they don’t work so well for some products such as skins. I’ll have to try a few more things before the dreaded site redesign happens and the blog gets a fresh start.
