My first visit to the Shoe Fair landed me at store of one of the sponsors, Slink, and my eyes fell pretty immediately on the Mieke Riding Boots. An actual, low-heeled riding boot, and a sexy, well-made one at that, with gorgeous, realistic textures, excellent details and a lovely shape. I had to have it, despite the one little “flaw” from a rider’s point of view; an inside zipper. However, for the kind of riding this girl looks set to do, I don’t think that matters. ;)

The Mieke boots come with options both for invisiprims and alpha layers and a single colour is L$ 600 with the fatpack being just L$1100. Since I had to have at least the black and the red, I succumbed to the lure of the pack.

My skin is the recently released Lola by Launa Fauna. She makes some of the best makeups around and this face I found easier to fit to more of my shapes than her previous releases. Its a sultry, feminine face with a nicely shaded body, available in 6 tones. This is one of the darker, though my personal preference probably runs to the lighter ones with this skin.

Each skin comes with and without freckles and with regular and “pushed up” cleavage and the brows are modifable. Launa Fauna has also released a set of tattoo-layer add-ons, such as the beautymark shown. Apart from several variants of beauty marks the pack also includes different freckles, a gap-toothed option and a braces option.

This shot also gives a better look at my favourite Truth hairstyle from last week,Tatiana, and some of the newest pieces from Alchemy Immortalis. Oh, and can’t forget my new lashes from alaskametro. The have tintable tips, which I find is by fair the best way to match lashes to lighter hair colours; a fully tintable lash becomes to obviously red, for example. They also include an alpha layer for masking out the default lashes completely for a closer fit.
