Harem Nights

On Saturday, I attended the Harem Nights fashion show, where four designers (Fantasia, Haven Designs, HonourBound and Sakinah) presented clothing inspired by the modern Middle East as well as the more fantastical Middle East, and I’ve got a couple of new acquisitions to share with you. More may follow, I definitely have a weakness for this kind of clothing. Plus, it goes so well with the two prefabs from NotSoBad that Ran and I purchased a while ago.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Siren Tone 3 Pinky Cat by Adam n Eve
Hair: Dive Onyx by Analog Dog
Clothes: Dancer Black by Haven Designs
Accessories: Vanisri Wrapped Necklace Onyx and Silver by Zaara, Samara Black by Adam n Eve,

First up we have Dancer from Haven Designs, a tribal/gypsy bellydance outfit here seen in black. It features a laced-up half-corset with lace-accents and a low-slung, tiered skirt with a looped, sculpted belt. As the name would suggest, there is lots of movement to the skirt and it does indeed look quite fabulous when you are dancing in.

Dancer comes in a wide array of strong colours, with one colour as of yet unreleased as it will be sold to benefit the World Wildlife Federation through Operation Squeegee.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Siren Tone 3 Pinky Cat by Adam n Eve
Hair: Dive Onyx by Analog Dog
Clothes: Harem Red by Fantasia
Accessories: Samara Black by Adam n Eve,

The second outfit I am featuring today is from Fantasia. Harem, here in Red, is one of two new outfits from Fantasia, both featuring different styles of harem pants. On Harem the pants include a large tasseled scarf wrapped about the waist and falling down the back and it also features a gold-accented top and gold chains as added embellishments.

Because of the sculpted scarf, Harem isn’t as fluid as Dancer, but it is a lovely, rich outfit that looks positively decadent with all the gold accents. The shade of red is also quite gorgeous.

To transform some of your summer nights into harem nights, check out Haven Designs and Fantasia for these outfits and more. For great accessories, Zaara would be an excellent choice (the necklace in the first picture is from there) and for skins with the right flavour, why not try Adam n Eve? I am wearing Siren in these pictures. The hair, of course, is my new obsession, Dive from Analog Dog.
