A Handsome Mosaic

Munchflower Zaius of Nomine has been on a roll in recent months with male skins, with the release of the handsome Noam skin and the Andro skin with its beautiful androgyny. Now she’s back with something new: the Mosaic male skin, a compliment to the female skin line of the same name.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Mosaic (Latte Clean) by Nomine
Hair: Devon (Charcoal) by Exile
Eyes: Bellstones 1 by Adam n Eve
Underwear: Rantastic (Canary) by Adam n Eve
Poses: By Reel Expression

Mosaic’s definitely a quite masculine skin when you compare the face to the rather more pretty model-like Noam, and certainly the more androgynous Andro. I actually worked on a shape from scratch for this skin (something I don’t often do) because it demanded that much attention, which is a testament to its quality. All the good qualities I’ve mentioned in prior reviews are here—terrific texturing, really well-done definition and tone (especially the abs and ribs), and more. As you can see, Mosaic’s got rather manly hair on arms and leg (but not on the chest, which actually would have been a nice option—maybe Munchflower’ll release a tattoo layer for chest hair?

There’s something about the face that I find very appealing. I tend to go for the more beautiful looks rather than the butcher, more masculine looks, and that nose in particular never quite appeals on most skins ... but it just works here. It all meshes together very well. The eyebrow’s improved when compared to Noam, I think, whose sharp wing-like shape never quite fit right. Here it’s oned down, as is the stripe of pubic hair. And speaking of pubic hair, yes, there’s pubic hair under that underwear, while there’s no hair base to speak of for these skins.

At just L$400 a skin, with a wide range of makeups to choose from—from various facial hairs to more alternative/punk/goth looks—as well as a number of tones (including a brand new one for her male skin line, Ruddy, which would suit an Indian appearance very well) Mosaic is, once again, one of the best deals you can get on the grid.
