Noam Part Deux

At last, I can show the full skin tone and facial hair range of Noam, now that Munchflower Zaius has rolled out the full line. Besides the addition of many additional facial hair/makeup options, there’s been a number of tweaks between this and the pre-release version I reviewed earlier.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skins: Noam (China White Clean, Ultralight Blackout, Latte Chinstrap, Fawn Tracers, and Mocha Low) by Nomine
Hair: Saul (Bark) by Bryce Designs
Eyes: Twilight 1 by Adam n Eve
Shape: Mohan 2 by me for Adam n Eve

Among the updates? Slightly lighter brows to make it easier to use them across a range of hair colors, a somewhat neater pubic hair region, a notable change to the shading around the nose, some seam tweaks… and, well, more things of that sort, from what Munchflower says. All to good effect, if I may say so. It’s an even better skin than before.

Not least because of the wide range of options. There’s a pretty complete list of facial hair fair variations .The only notable omission? No mustache-only option. On top of that, she’s thrown in some Goth/Punk makeups, as seen here. And the skin tones? Terrific range of hues, although I’m not sure how successful Mocha is—it’s difficult to get these darker tones from a lighter base, and in this case the highlighting (at least on the face) seems a bit grey to me.Still, kudos for offering such a lovely, dark tone, and for generally making the effort to have something for everyone!

Style Notes & Slurls

Skins: Noam (China White Shadow, Ultralight Gash, Patch Latte, Fawn Goatee, and Mocha Low) by Nomine
Hair: Saul (Bark) by Bryce Designs
Eyes: Twilight 1 by Adam n Eve
Shape: Mohan 2 by me for Adam n Eve

Part way through this, I’ve realized that I’m failing to feature two of the makeups. Oh, well, so it goes. Suffice it to say, I should have had an example of the full beard look as well as the very Goth Manson look. In any case, as you can see, still a great range of options. I find Gash pretty neat, in particular—perfect for those roleplayers out there. I forgot to note with some of these that I’m also showing the lined option on occasion, which gives a fairly noticeable amount of black eyeliner (great texture to it, too, with a bit of shininess to it).

At just L$500 a skin, these hand-drawn skins from Nomine are a terrific deal for those who want to look good and stand out a bit while doing it.
