A Touch of Romance

In a short while the feeds will be full of pink and red as we near Valentine’s Day. Its not a big thing here in Sweden, but a bit of girly romance never hurts even so. The latest release from Sascha’s Designs, Ula, offers quite a bit of that, with a bit of a period-inspired flair.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Portia Tone 1 Baroque by Adam n Eve
Hair: Hello Cedar by Analog Dog
Clothes: Ula Beige by Sascha's Designs
Accessories: The Monarchy by Exodi

Ula is floral-patterned gown, or rather set of gowns, as the number of included skirts is quite impressive. There’s five long skirts and two shorter, and for accessories you get a fur stola (shown), a hat and an umbrella. The latter two go particularly well with the empire-line skirt, and I decided to focus on the slimmer skirts this time as I felt they suited this dress particularly well. I also think that the beige is particularly attractive as it shows off the contrasting floral print so well. But there are also darker colours available, including an intense, dark red.

I paired the gown with hair from Analog Dog and jewelry from Exodi as well as the latest skin release from Adam n Eve; the Baroque makeup from the new four-pack of makeups for Portia. Portia comes with three brow colours, freckles & no freckles and head hair & bald for each makeup, and you can get the whole fourpack for just L$ 1800. All the makeups go in pink and red tones, so perfect if you’re feeling romantically inclined, and I think this one suited the femininity of the Ula dress very well.
