Lyra Twice Over

I have a weakness for photo contests, especially those with a touch of magic expected in the pictures. Like the ones that have been arranged a few times now by Evangeline Miles of Evie’s Closet and Faery Sola of Studio Sidhe. Today marks the start of another of, called Pirouette, which calls for pictures made using Faery Sola’s lovely Music Box pose prop and the Lyra or Lyra II gown from Evie.

Skin: Bella Sunkissed Raven by Tuli
Hair: Storm B Black by Detour
Clothes: Lyra Frostbite by Evie's Closet
Accessories: Alicia Black by Adam n Eve

Lyra is a saucy little number, especially in this special edition “Frostbite” colour. It has a distinctly dark fairy look, not the least when the wings and the crown are worn. There’s also a special “Frost” version in all white, and several different colours of the regular version. The latter only comes with one skirt variant, the pod skirt.

Clothes: Lyra II Amber by Evie's Closet

If something more elegant and covering is your thing, then Lyra II might be for you. There’s a black and red version of this one too, but I couldn’t resist the amber, which blends shades of red and orange. I love how the colours blend when you move, and the flexi is of course lovely, as with all of Evie’s gowns.

Either gown is eligible for the contest, so if you fancy a chance at winning some great prizes—and apparently there will be a gift for all who enter as well—then you have an excellent reason to head on down to Evie’s Closet and select your favourite Lyra or Lyra II. Or why not one of each?

For the contest, you will also need the music box prop, which I found to be very prettily textured and with some lovely poses. I would definitely recommend getting the texture change version.
