LivejournalMusashi-Do is aiming to be the de-facto choice for men’s suits in Second Life. Certainly, the dynamic creator behind the store has been releasing a dizzying amount of suits, all of high quality, together covering a range of the sort of uses one would put a suit from casual to business to formal. The latest entry is Firenza Blues, for the businessmen out there in SL.

The InfiniTIE system is just so awesome. It completely changes a suit from a one-off that you wear for just a certain mood, because now you can get the beautiful sculpts to match different shirts—and different moods, when you throw in the huge range of tie textures you can apply. A number are included with the suit, and you can always apply others from the rest of the InfiniTIE range, whether the suits such as Evening in Roma or the stand-alone texture packs that you can buy.
This latest suit out of the tailor’s workshop of Shiryu Musashi is another winner, this time aimed at a more conservative, business-appropriate suit. The deep, rich blue of the jacket is beautifully textured, and as always the sculpts are impeccable. With a terrific HUD system in place to handle positioning, resizing, and texturing, this one’s very easy to play with. A number of shirts are included in various colors, some with pinstriping, as usual. Other sculpts include the sleeves (the shirt sleeves extending from the cuff will change texture as well, to suit whatever shirt you’re wearing) and pant legs.
To compliment the style of the suit, the M112’s from Adam n Eve were a natural. Something a little different, though, is the Dane hair in copper from Exilet. A new release for men, Dane has a fresh, modern look with a certain unruliness that’s rather eye-catching—it may not be strictly “business”, but it’s certainly fashionable. I think it’s in part due to the sculpting, which is handled very well.
What more is there to say? I’ll just underscore the fact that this is a really, really beautiful suit for men. Perhaps it’s the fact that blue’s one of my favorite colors, and the richness of the shade of it here is just very appealing. I think Shiryu Musashi has knocked another one out of the park, to say the least.
