A Winter Fantasy

Recently, I showed Rfyre’s Oksana outfit. Now Raven Pennyfeather has released her second Russian-inspired outfit, Katerina, and if you were impressed by Oksana you are sure to find Katerina even more amazing.

I’ve paired the outfit with the latest skin from Adam n Eve, Sasha, a brand-new hair from Jolie Femme and the Riding Boots from Coco that I picked up at the Shoe Expo.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Sasha Tone 2 Scarlet Bewbs by Adam n Eve
Hair: Marianne Black by Jolie Femme
Clothes: Katerina Black by Rfyre
Accessories: Riding Boots Black by Coco

There’s something fierce and wild about Katerina, from the fur-trimmed hat to the wide, embroidered pants. Wearing this, I feel ready to swing myself up on a horse for a gallop across a snow-covered countryside. That’s also why I slipped on these amazing riding boots from Coco. They have great texturing, they fit quite well even on some of my sturdier shapes, and they are proper riding boots with no heels. Yay for that.

But, returning to Katerina, let me point out some of what this amazing outfit consists of. There’s a collar, a belt, prim sleeves and prim legs, a prim skirt for the jacket and an assortment of clothing layer pieces, which includes several different options on top. I am wearing the jacket with trim and the sheer red undershirt, but there’s also a vest option and a more opaque undershirt. For such a large number of prims, I found it quite easy to put together, even though some resizing and moving was needed for my avatar. As with Oksana, the prim parts are scripted for resizing, though you can also modify them manually if you prefer.

Overall, I am really impressed with the Katerina ensemble. Its beautiful and imaginative, a true winter fantasy.

Both the skin and the hair I hope to give a closer look at soonish, but for now I’ll give you the basic idea. Sasha is Adam n Eve’s newest skin, and she’s out in a mini-pack of four makeups. She sells for L$ 1000 per makeup (and that includes options for freckles, hairbase and cleavage) or L$ 1800 for all four, a price that will only be around for as long as the mini-packs are out. The hair is Marianne from Jolie Femme, who makes some of the best curl and wave textures for hair. If you want loose and flowing hair, make sure to check her out.
