A Russian Fairytale

When I first saw the latest release from Rfyre, Oksana, the vivid colours and the daring cut of the top immediately caught my attention. So, when I had the opportunity to get a review copy of the outfit, I wasn’t about to pass that up.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Bella Pale Red Raven by Tuli
Hair: Stephanie Dusk by Jolie Femme
Clothes: Oksana by Rfyre
Accessories: Promenade by Kalnins

Oksana, as the name would suggest, is inspired by Russia. There’s fur, there’s vivid, elaborate embroideries and there’s a headdress worthy of an empress or a steppe princess. There’s also a very sexy neckline, which goes beautifully with one of the push-up options for Tuli’s stunning Bella skin. A choice of two skirts is included, one a very long and grand skirt with a fur-trimmed waistline and the other the beautifully embroidered shorter skirt which finishes with a broad golden belt.

There’s definitely more than a hint of fairy tale about this outfit, and that suits me just fine. In fact, it might be my favourite outfit for the winter so far, because it really stands out and it feels like something quite different in where it draws its inspiration from.

I paired Oksana with the Bella skin from Tuli, the Stephanie hair from Jolie Femme and Kalnins excellent Promenade boots. With that, I think I am set for winter, though I suppose I might experience a slight case of cold bosom.
