The blog continues to suffer as I slave away on mine and Ran’s other website, but I did manage to shoot some pictures of Elymode’s latest release, the soft denim shirt and skirt combination. I am generally not much of a denim girl in RL, but I would definitely give these a try. Though I think I might have to stick to the skirt, I don’t quite have the right assets for the shirt. ;)

As with all the previous releases from Elymode, these pieces are designed with mixing and matching in mind, with other Elymode pieces as well as pieces from other designers. I find that the skirt in particular—just like the long simple skirt from Elymode—is one of those perfect pieces for mixing with all sorts of tops for different looks. Elysium really shades her skirts beautifully, and gives her flexis lovely flow.
The wrapped top is definitely a great piece as well, and I am particularly taken with the cut of the back and with the execution of the prim ends to the tie around the waist. There’s also a simple button option, but the dangling ends is just to my taste. As on the skirt, the fabric texturing is subtle but convincing, really conveying the casual elegance of denim.
Both pieces are offered in all applicable layers, making it as likely as possible that they will combine with whatever you want to use them with.
The hair is Tiny Bird’s charming braid, Breathe Me, and the skin is a fall makeup for Natasha from Adam n Eve, this time worn in the freckled option.
