The first combination is the lovely Portia paired with jewellery featuring sculpted leaves and amber. I love amber in RL, but it is rarely seen in SL, and very rarely done as well as here. These pieces are quite stunning as Zaara has managed to capture the play of colour and the feeling that you can see deep into the piece that is so essential for amber. The sculpting, too, is very well done, just look at the fall of leaves on the very ostentatious earrings.

As for the skin, I’ve used Portia for a number of post over the last few weeks, but I haven’t quite given a good look at all of her. Well, here it is. The closeup shows tone 2 and the lovely Leopard makeup, and in the other shots you can see all four tones side-by-side in a selection of makeups. The red brows (Portia also comes with blond and dark brows) have been used for all of the shots, and for these pictures I opted for the non-freckled version.

Having been heavily involved in her development, I am of course rather biased in favour of this skin, but I really do feel sachi has created a very good body (that backside is without question my favourite in SL) for this new skin line and matched it with some gorgeous faces. This is a shape I’ve made specifically for Portia (and which probably will be on sale fairly soon), but I’ve also used her on a number of my regular shapes and I find her very versatile and flattering.

The next skin and jewellery combination is the exotic Siren together with a set of gold chains with chunks of onyx. This set actually includes both gold and silver versions, but I am just showing the gold here. Once again we have gorgeously dangly earrings as well as a sexy bracelet that wraps around your hand and a necklace that coils about your neck and drops a chain between your breasts and also down your back. Its superbly executed and both bold and elegant at the same time.

Given that, it goes perfectly with Siren. If Portia is elegant and sophisticated, Siren is sultry and sexy. They share the same gorgeous body, but her colouring is bolder (and so are many of her makeups, of which you get two with each purchase) and her face quite strong. She is a bit more shape-dependent than Portia—her mouth, in particular—but she is so worth making a few tweaks for if you are looking for a striking skin with a bit of an exotic feel. This shape is once again one made for the skin, but I’ve tweaked the mouths of some of my regular shapes too for great results with Siren.
