A PixelDolls Quickie

I may have mentioned once or twice that PixelDolls is a favourite store of mine. The quality of the textures, the many different designs…there’s just so much there to fill up my inventory with. And as soon as I saw today’s new release, I knew I had to have it. After all, its got see-through bits.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Anaise Kahlua by Skin Within
Hair: Madison Midnight by Calico Creations
Clothes: Knockout Red by PixelDolls
Accessories: Secret Necklace Gold & Mandarin Garnet by Miriel
Poses: LAP

Rather appropriately named Knockout, this dress consists of a top that is part opaque and part see-through mesh and a skirt that is mostly see-through mesh over mesh stockings. Its available in five colours—seen here is the red—and each colour is only L$ 100.

The skirt was a little tricky to fit; given the mesh, it needs to cover the legs entirely, so I had to do some fiddling to make sure it could do that without getting too long. It was also rather tricky to take pictures…or rather to work with in the clean-up process. If you see a hint of green on the mesh, that’s from the green-screen and not from the dress itself.

I paired the dress with the Creole skin from Skin Within, Anaise, in one of the freckled makeups, a lovely necklace from Miriel (the fit of her necklaces is always great, and her prices are more than reasonable) and a hair from Calico. Calico, btw, is having a half-off sale on selected hairs right now. Not this one, alas, but plenty of other great styles, including the Emily style which is an all-time favourite of mine.

If you haven’t stopped by in Port Seraphine lately, I definitely suggest hopping over there to check out some of what’s on offer. There have been quite a few interesting releases from PixelDolls of late, and I for one always open my notecards from them eagerly.
