A Taste of Fantasia

In my last post, I featured a Gorean item from Fantasia. There’s plenty more where it came from, but that is not all that you will find at Fantasia’s store. In fact, it is full of all sorts of clothing with a fantastical and/or historical flair, and the outfits range from barely there to quite demure. So, I thought I would give you a quick look at some of the pieces.

At the same time, I will take the opportunity to show off another of the Evolution skins from Adam n Eve: Bliss. That body definitely makes it hard for me to keep my clothes on.

We’re starting with one of those barely there items, the Chained silks. This was a Valentines gift to the group, but it is also available for purchase in other colours. Precisely how the top stays that way is, admittedly, a little of a mystery. But its definitely naughty. A little more covering, but only little, is the Bound outfit, where I quite like the rope around the waist. It is, I believe, available in not just several colours but also two different fabric types.

If you want to let out your inner Roman (well, after a fashion, anyway), the Decadent Tunic might be what you need. I quite like the silhouette of this outfit, and the pattern along the edges. Patterns also play a big part in the Dune outfit, which comes in several quite neat colour combinations. I am also very fond of tiered skirts.

Decadent (not to be confused with the Decadent Tunic) also features bold colour combinations, and a really cute jacket that I wish was available on its own layer. Even so, it may be my favourite of the dresses I’ve found at Fantasia. But the Companion, here seen in Purple, is also very charming. Last, but not least, is the charmingly rustic Freya outfit. If any Wheel of Time fans are reading, it struck me as if it would fit straight into the Two Rivers.

Most of the outfits at Fantasia cost L$ 300, which I think is quite reasonable. I do have some wishes for future releases, however. As noted in the previous review, all the clothes are transfer rather than copy. Since some of them took quite a bit of stretching to fit me, it was a bit of a concern. In most cases, I think it came out fairly well, but I would still very much prefer copy items. Additionally, I would love more layers, since some items would be great for using on their own.

Finally, I did find some small discrepancies in prim colour vs clothing layer colour, which did not appear to have been caused by a tint to deal with the bug that was recently fixed. It may be that they had been made slightly different to compensate for this, but not via a tint as was most common. Not a huge issue for me, but if you want to try out some outfits before deciding on a purchase, many items are available in the camping chairs and in the lucky chair.
