Otherworldly

Winter Town

It feels a bit strange to be in modern clothing and on a modern-themed sim! I have fallen into doing almost entirely roleplay/fantasy looks (well, that and a lot fair bit of nudity), but in doing this shot I felt I’ve actually missed doing a bit of this and that. So, I am glad I was inspired to do this by the newest release from Zaara as well as a brand-new hair by Amacci.

Moonlit Love

Ever since Ran and I started renting a full sim, home & garden items have become a more significant part of the blog. The latest move in that direction is that I’ve started blogging for Roawenwood, a brand whose rustic, roleplay-oriented items have been on my radar for a while. The set we’re looking at today is out now for We Love Role-Play at 30% off and its perfect for cold winter nights.

A Castle of My Own

I have slipped a bit behind on my blogging of late, but this time it is Second Life itself that is to blame. More specifically, Jammin’s various construction sets. I had been eyeing those for a good while, and when the brand-new Dungeon Construction Set came out, I decided that with that set I could probably construct something castle-like. Not quite a castle yet, since the existing sets don’t quite lend themselves to a full-scale castle, but the dungeon set definitely offers a lot of new interior space options. So, our work in progress is the backdrop for this photo session, which also includes a dress from Fallen Gods and Faida, a necklace from Aisling and a statue from Paper Moon and the Muses under the Visage name.

The New Art

A new round of the Fantasy Gacha Carnival has started and Aisling is participating with an elaborate, art nouveau-inspired jewellery set. I decided to stage the shot in one of our little patches of woodland, using the Titania’s Feast set from the Muses as part of the scene. I am also wearing a pair of brand new mesh eyes from PXL.

Lunar Goddess

This weekend I went on a bit of a shopping spree as a reward for a busy week, but I may just have given myself even more to do. I have been eyeing some of the building sets from Jammin for quite some time and when the new Dungeon Construction set came out, I took the plunge. What you’re seeing in these photos is a tiny bit of one of the example builds included with this set, but expect to see a lot more once I actually manage to put something together. Lets just say visualising things in 3D isn’t my strong suit!

Maya

Tuli has released a full skinline for Maya, whom we got a sneak peek of in witchy makeup. Now she’s out in the full range of skin tones (0-7) and with regular makeups on tattoo layers. I paired her with a cosy recent release from Jian and a few finds from the Gacha Garden.

A Touch of Alchemy

The Fantasy Collective has just opened and Tuli has another skin with a Halloween theme out for this event. As it happened, I thought it went rather nicely with Senzafine‘s latest release. The resulting look was what I wore as I checked out Carver’s End, this year’s horror survival game from Pulse games.

A Dreadful Lady

Fallen Gods has some fabulous new releases out for Wayward Halloween, including a charming Victorian-inspired gown created in collaboration with Faida. It seemed like a good fit for a library setting (courtesy of the library skybox from Garden of Dreams), especially together with some occult books from Paper Moon.

Death’s Bride

The TAG! Gacha opened today and my self-imposed limits did not last long once I decided that the sets from Casa del Shai and deviousMind would make for a lovely scene together. And while I was chasing down the last Shai pieces that I needed, a review copy of a new skin from Tuli landed in my inventory and it turned out to be just right for the look as well.

Loyal Companions

It is drawing near to that time of the year when Second Life is invaded by pumpkins, ghosts and assorted frightful things. The TAG! Gacha would appear to be fully embracing Halloween for its upcoming edition, which opens October 17th, and the same can (unsurprisingly) be said for the Wayward Halloween gacha.

Hay Fever

Artisan Fantasy releases a lot of high-quality props and furnishings, often with some kind of roleplay market in mind. For ROMP, they have released a large set of barn/stable themed pose props, as well as a few pieces of atmospheric add-ons, as the Stony Hollow collection. This seemed like the perfect opportunity for a bit of a roll in the hay, so to speak. Which means, yes, this is most definitely another NSFW post.

Just Playing

A new round of Romp, as always full of elegant kink, starts tomorrow (October 2nd). Two of the participating brands are Dutchie and Aisling and as it would happen their releases went rather well together. Now, I do want to stress before anyone dives into this post that it is most definitely NSFW. That was hard to avoid when Dutchie went and released a whole playroom full of furniture. In fact, it is such a large release that this post only looks at three of the five new items and even then it just scratches the surface as there’s over 200 animations in total. And guys, if your equipment is by Aeros, you will appreciate the new auto-tilting feature of these pieces.

Chained

ieQED has put out another set of body jewellery and I took that as an opportunity to show off Tuli’s Willow skin and her Slink appliers in yet another tone. As it happened, the body jewellery also went quite well with the latest jewellery release from Jian.

Waiting, in Winter

I may have mentioned my growing tendency to hoard landscaping items ever since Ran and I ended up renting a full sim. I still haven’t quite found a knack for landscaping, but I am working on it, and at least it gets easier with great mesh products from places like Studio Skye, Fanatik and Jian, all used to put together the location for these photos.

The Alchemy of Love

I am staying with Tuli’s new skin, Willow, for this post as well, though in one of the mid-range tones (tone 4, specifically) this time around. But rather than appearing as an elven maiden in the woods, I am adopting the guise of s sorceress preparing a carefully planned seduction with the help of a new dress and a new gacha from Aisling.
