Otherworldly

The Raven Queen

Enchantment opens in two days, on November 1st. Not only will you be able to buy exclusive releases inspired by Snow White, but you can also enjoy the scenery on a wintry island with a tall castle just next to the shopping area. Just be careful if you venture there, since you never know when the Raven Queen will be at home.

Nephilaine Protagonist is participating in Enchantment with her fantasy brand the Muses and she has released 2 brand new gowns, each in 3 exclusive colours. I am wearing Fairest in Red and I thought this dramatic colour combination was just the right choice for a wicked (or perhaps just misunderstood) queen in a fairy tale. I think this gown is really pushing what has been done with mesh gowns so far, adding a lot more volume to the skirt, and I love it.

GSpot has been making some really excellent and innovative fantasy accessories lately and the Raven-Nell crown and collar are certainly no exception. Available in black, gold and cream, the set is a striking adornment truly worthy of a queen. I love the drama of the pieces and the detailing is quite exquisite. In fact, it is very hard to do justice to the very fine chains of the crown when you photo with depth of field, so do take a look at the photos on the GSpot website as well, to see the fine detail of the work.

My skin is once again Pixie from the Skin Shop, I am really having a hard time getting out of that skin, and I am using a hairbase and a hairbase attachment from Amacci. The photos are both taken on location on the sim where Enchantment will take place and the beautiful castle is from the Looking Glass.
