Otherworldly

Queen Beyond the Wall

I started this post two days ago, but then my connection was acting up and I couldn’t upload any images, which made for a rather boring post! Yesterday, I spent most of the day at a dog show and was absolutely knackered when I came home. But after a good night’s sleep (squeezed in between our two boxers), I am ready to tackle it again. While Game of Thrones may be over, A Song of Ice and Fire and the world of Westeros continue on and continue making up a large part of my work. Which of course means it will continue to inspire me in Second Life. In this piece, I combine elements from Enchantment and Final Winter.

The beautiful gown is from one of deviousMind’s elaborate gachas. In this one, you can win the wool dress in several fur inspired colours, a matching corset in leather or chains and a fantastic fur cloak.

At my side, essential for ruling the wild lands Beyond the Wall, is an enormous direwolf from Jinx’s gacha.

The crown is an earlier release from lassitude & ennui which I felt fit the feel of the outfit. I could definitely use some more simple, stark crowns in various metals that aren’t copies of HBO designs.

The hair is called Dany, so the inspiration should be obvious, and it is available from Wasabi at Final Winter. I will definitely show this more so I can show it from the back as well; here the fur cloak made that hard.
