Pirate Princess

Now that Slink has brought out an update to the Physique mesh body, I really needed to get some less dressed photos done. The Tortuga Princess gacha set from aisling for the Fantasy Gacha Carnival turned out to be just what I needed, especially in combination with the Garden Pavilion from Dysfunctional Designs for Collabor88.

The Tortuga Princess set is another of those amazingly elaborate gacha collections from aisling, this one with a distinctly piratical feel. For these shots, I am wearing at least one example of each piece (for the arms, you have two options for each slot), save for the eyepatch.

Apart from the jewellery set, the only other piece of “clothing” are the Brocade slippers from lassitude & ennui, made for the Fit for a Princess event. Perhaps they weren’t precisely intended for a Pirate Princess, but I think it works rather well.

The lovely pavilion, as well as the bed, the table and the lamps, are all from Dysfunctional Designs. At just 12 LI in total, it is a fabulous piece of atmospheric furnishings and I love the Grecian feel of the set, enhanced by the patterns and colours available for the fabrics. You get six metal textures, five wood tones and twenty fabric choices. The bed also comes with a set of single animations as well as two sets of couple animations, one of them X-rated.

So, what about the Physique update? Well, the first shot gave a good look at the improved bottom, now with an improved roundness. It gets a little larger than the default SL avatar, but not so much as to be a concern.

This shot also shows a touch of the optional materials effects; I have it set to “sheen” in these photos and the other option is “droplets”.

My skin is Adam n Eve’s Taliya in the darkest tone (E) and my hair is Wasabi Pills Serena in Ash. The first pose is from oOo Studios, the other are part of the bed.
