Otherworldly

I spent the day doing some Christmas shopping (mostly various edible things, yum) and after surviving the crowds that had descended on Gothenburg today I decided that I wanted to setup a very tranquil-feeling scene for today’s photos. What better spot than our little northern corner of ice and snow? It was also perfect for showing off two new releases for Redeux, which is running from December 14th to December 21st, offering a great mix of designers showcasing both new exclusive items and discounted items.

But that is not all the newness that I have for you today. I am wearing the brand new Emily head from Vista, which may be my favourite so far of their heads, and I also need to tell you about a promotion from Astrology that gives you the chance to win the entire store.

Starting off with the items from Redeux, the snowflakes swirling around me are by Naminoke and are called Snowflake Princess. There’s a couple of pieces I am not wearing—a veil/mask with a swirl of snowflakes around my head and a pair of earrings—and each piece also comes in blue or purple.

The gown and short cloak are by Luas. Sizes for Belleza Freya and Isis, Maitreya and Slink Hourglass are included and there’s 5 colours to by separately or 10 if you get the fatpack. The cloak has a built-in pose for your arms so they do not break through it, but that can be removed or overridden if you prefer.

The final Redeux item is the Freya pose set from Serendipity and as you no doubt have noticed, I am using a lot of Serendipity poses lately. I find them very charming and great for telling a story.

I will definitely give you more of a look at Vista’s Emily head when I have a bit more time, but my initial impression is that it is a head with a lot of potential. Here it is shown with one of the skins included on the HUD, this one by 7 Deadly s[K]ins. If you already own one of the previous female Vista heads, there is a promotion where you can get L$1000 when you buy it on the marketplace. This head also comes with an updated version of the HUD, which will be sent out for existing heads on Monday.
