Yesterday, Froukje Hoorenbeek of Dutchie plurked that she had a new release. She managed to make it sound very intriguing by saying that it made her blush, so I headed right over to her store to check it out. I didn’t have time to find it before she dropped a folder on me and said that she’d like to see what I’d write about it. The name of the item was the “Pet Pillow” and that alone had me hurrying back to my sim to check it out. As you might guess, this post will be heading into NSFW territory, even though the pillow is actually for solo use. But trust me, it is very useful even so and there are a total of 100 animations packed into it. As a result, this post has 10 images below the cut, so it might take a little time to load.
The Pet Pillow is an item designed for submissives, especially those who enjoy a bit (or a lot) of humiliation at the hand of their masters. As noted, there are 100 solo animations in the pillow, divided across 10 menus with names such as “Kneel”, “Naked” and “Perform”. There is also a menu with 10 themed sequences.
The pillow itself comes with 9 colour options and settings for who can control the menus and whether facial expressions should be on or off. Because it is such an everyday item with a style that fits a variety of settings, the pillow should be very useful for everything from Gor to a modern day scenario. It is also easy to make the pillow work with your avatar since it is such an uncomplicated item in this regard. And if the AVsitter experience is enabled on your land (and for yourself) you can enjoy auto-attachment of props such as cuffs.
It is without a doubt the animations that play the starring role with this item and the selection and combination of them is key to the experience. Froujke really knows her craft in this regard and has put together an excellent spread of animations that all fit the theme of submission and control. Selecting just a few favourites to photo was not easy and it was only after some culling among the images that we ended up taking that I managed to get it down to “just” 10. I won’t comment on each of them, I think they speak well enough for themselves, but I really enjoyed the Pet Pillow as a whole.
