Otherworldly

Princess Peacock

A somewhat unusual choice of colours for me, it tends to be the blacks and the bold reds that draw my eye. But since every colour in the Jodha Lehenga collection from Zaara looks fantastic, I wanted to pick something different. And when I decided that the scene needed something more, it turned out that the ivory version looked really good against the albino texture for Jian’s peacock. I played around a bit with the windlight as well and I think the pink sunset light made for a very pretty contrast.

When she released the Jodha lehenga for We Love Role-Play, Zaara wrote on her blog that this outfit had taken a long time to execute properly in Second Life. This shows in the fantastic drapery of the skirt and the dupatta (scarf) as well as in the long head scarf included in the special bridal edition. There are five versions of the head scarf included, to suit different hair styles, and Zaara includes suggestions for what kind of styles each scarf will work with.

The Jodha lehenga is available at We Love Role-Play at a 25% discount for the special edition and a 40% discount for the regular edition (which does not include the head scarf).

A closer look at the beautiful hand-drawn embroidery on the lehenga. I am also wearing a jewellery set from Zaara, the Kalki temple jewellery which consists of necklace, earrings and bangles.

My hair is once again the Indigo braid from Wasabi, which fit very well under the head scarf. I’ve still got the same skin from DNA on as in the last few posts but I have changed my head to Maya from LightStar, which is now Bakes on Mesh ready.
