Whew. Finally back at my own desk. Not that I haven’t had a great time, but I did miss the conveniences of home…not the least my large screen. I have a sizeable blogging backlist, so today I dove right in to give you a look at some of Jian’s recent releases, accompanied by items from alaskametro, ieQED, Maxi Gossamer, Wasabi Pills and PXL.
The little red dress is called Anna and it is Jian’s release for the August round of MIX, which is a mainstore event that uses a shopping HUD to get you around to all the participating stores. The dress is nicely modelled and rigged and a very promising first piece of clothing from Jian. I might have wished for a bit more detail in the texturing, however.
I matched the dress with the Risa shoes in Sunshine by alaskametro for the Mesh Body Addicts fair. These bold platform heels are vivacious and fun and very summery.
The chair I am seated in is part of the Demilune set by Jian for The Fantasy Collective. This round of TFC ends on August 13th, so if you haven’t already been there, hurry up! The Demilune set includes sofa, chair, rug, two sidetables and some props for these tables and they come with Jian’s nice and easy menus for texture changing. The sofa and the chair are also full of poses and come in a PG and a ADULT version.
In this closeup, we get a better look at the Sasha hair by Wasabi Pills for Uber, a style with a lot of attitude, as well as one of the new makeups for the Shara skin by PXL for We Love Role-Play. My accessories consist of the Rose Heart necklace and matching earrings by Maxi Gossamer, purchase of which will enter you into a draw for an RL version of the necklace. I am also wearing the Dream Ring set by ieQED for Collabor88, which can be worn as a full set or as individual rings. I particularly like the flowering ring and the big cloud ring, which features a stone with an animated texture.
In the background, we see more of the Demilune set as well as the rustic Wine Cart by Jian for 25L Tuesday, which comes with wood textures that match those of the Demilune set.
And that’s about it, for now. I still have plenty left to photo, not to mention that I have not had a chance to visit most of the August events. But I think I had better unpack my suitcases now before my RL inventory becomes as untidy as my SL one.
