Fade to Grey

From skin with the rough texture of stone to skin with the dark-grey colour of stone; with so many fantasy events going on, finding a good fantasy skin is not hard at all—the only hard part is choosing if you only want one. I was fortunate enough to get a chance to blog this particular skin for this round of We Love Role-Play, but though I opted to keep the whole look grey scale, I moved away from the traditional white hair of a drow.

The gown with its beautiful brocade bodice and the eye-catching gradient at the bottom of the skirt is Kairavi from Apsara for the Fantasy Faire. The elegant updo is another Wasabi Pills hair, this one available at FaMESHed.

The Drow skin, here in the “Stone” option (there are five tones in total), is from Pink Fuel for We Love Role-Play. I have not really tried Pink Fuel before as the skins have felt a little too cute for my tastes, but I have to say I am very impressed with both the quality of the skin and the options included. The base skin comes with and without brows, plus you get tintable tattoo layer brows. Here I am using that option, with the brows tinted black. You also get a wide selection of other tattoo layers, for different breasts as well as different body types. In addition to that, you get appliers for every imaginable body part. Appliers certainly are crucial these days, especially for a fantasy skin that would otherwise be very hard to match, but the fact that Mochi Milena includes all of this with the base skin makes it very good value indeed. As if that wasn’t enough, the Pink Fuel skins come with a guaranteed lifetime of applier updates for any new body parts that may be released.

The exquisitely detailed Ayanan nosering and earrings are from Zaara for We Love Role-Play. I love how well the nose chain fits the curve of my cheek and the work on the tiny details of this set is very impressive. Its available in seven different stone variants and each includes silver and gold versions.

These photos were taken at the Fantasy Faire, on the stunning Sanctum sim built by Alia Baroque of Fallen Gods. You definitely need to see it before the Faire ends.
