Briony in Bondage

Roslin Petion of Luxuria is putting out a steady stream of sexy applier lingerie, with one of her latest offerings being for the Gacha Garden. I decided to pair it with a new release from Aisling and a new hair from Wasabi Pills, while also taking the opportunity to show off another tone of alaskametro’s/a> new skin, this time on the classic avatar head rather than a mesh head.

Vindicated

Running Second Life on a laptop and on mobile broadband when you’re used to a much larger screen and a much faster connection is not entirely enjoyable. However, with all the events starting up at the beginning of August, my inventory is full of pretty new things that I can’t wait to blog. Today, we have a sexy outfit from lassitude & ennui, a new skin from alaskametro and new hair from Wasabi Pills.

Today’s Catch

The Muses have a new release out and that was just the inspiration I needed to put together a look, which also includes one of the Hair Fair releases from Calico. I used one of our older NotSoBad houses as the setting, for a bit of a Middle Eastern feel.

Crafty

Suddenly, it is ferociously hot here and of course I had picked today for a thorough house cleaning. Perhaps that is why I was inspired to make this photo of someone working in warm conditions! New releases by Roawenwood, Tableau Vivant and ieQED are featured in this “crafty” post.

Wasabi Pills at Hair Fair

Have you been to Hair Fair yet? If not, there’s four sims of hair waiting to be thoroughly demoed. And if you already have gone through it once, take a second round (I thoroughly recommend cam-shopping from one of the two extra sims provided for that purpose). It is for a good cause, after all, and you can never have enough hair! If long styles are your passion, you definitely need to check out these three styles from Wasabi Pills.

Royal Courtesan

It isn’t just Romp that is giving a look at the kinkier side of Second Life right now. The current round of the Fantasy Collective caters to a particular kind of fantasies and it is there that we find this bold Courtesan gown from Fallen Gods & Faida. Another pair of ongoing events are the Secret Affair and of course Hair Fair, both represented with new releases from Noble Creations and LeLutka.

Scrub it, boy!

Romp opened yesterday and is celebrating its anniversary with an opulent two-sim fair, full of naughty treats. I decided to make use of a prop from Roawenwood from a previous round of Romp to give Ran something to do while I dressed myself up in new releases from Luxuria and Aisling. The gorgeous hair I am wearing is actually the gift from Analog Dog at Hair Fair, which opened today.

Sweet Music

Roawenwood made this lovely harp in three wood colours for Indie Teepee. I struggled a little at first in finding a setting that I liked for the harp, but then I remember this little island that I made in my latest reshaping of the sim and where I had placed the stone circle from HEXtraordinary. The setting then determined the rest of the items, a more modern look than I had at first envisioned but with a touch of whimsy about it.

Sn@tch on Sale

Sorry, I couldn’t resist that! But you really don’t want to miss that Sn@tch is having a sale, which of course means fatpacks at insane prices. I picked up the Martina lingerie used in this post (comes with and without the “modesty panels”) and decided to use a recent prop from Roawenwood to show it off. This post definitely gets NSFW!

Dominant

This started out as a bit of a fantasy rogue, but I am not sure quite where it ended up. A bit more modern, I think, despite most of the pieces coming from various rounds of We Love Role-Play, such as the gorgeous boots by lassitude & ennui and the fur collar by Noble Creations.

Hidden Gems

I recently reread Judith Tarr’s Alamut (which I cannot recommend enough if you like history, fantasy and romance) and it put me in the mood to do some desert scenes. Fortunately, Aisling and Bliensen+MaiTai had just the right items out at We Love Role-Play.

At a Crossroads

Well, I had something a lot longer written, but my browser crashed. So, this will have to be short and sweet instead. I am wearing the Rose lingerie from Luxuria for the Gacha Guardians event, paired with a pair of heels from Salt & Pepper from the same event. Gacha Guardians is an in-store gacha event where you fill out a HUD to get access to a prize room where you can claim Gifts of the Guardians if you have played a machine enough. Luxuria offers matching a matching body suit in four colours as their gift. The black set with garters and stockings that I am wearing is the rare of the regular lingerie.

Midsummer Night

It is that most Swedish of holidays today, aka midsummer. This year, I have not danced around a midsummer pole singing “SmÃ¥ grodorna”, but I did have strawberries so all is (mostly) in order anyway. I am now feeling rather stuffed and the humid weather is likely to put me to bed soon, so this is just a quick look at the second Fantasy Collective release from Aisling.

Muses Renewed

More and more creators are now moving to offering their mesh as fitmesh, either based on “Ruth” or on specific bodies, and the advantage in terms of fit over “Standard Sizes” is quite considerable. Producing fitmesh for all different bodies still involves a lot of work, however, so I am very happy that many creators have opted for supporting more than one brand. But why am I going on about this today? Because the Muses has re-released some of my favourite gowns in four fitmesh sizes for the classic/system body, Slink’s two bodies and an experimental size for the Maitreya Lara body. So, I am taking a second look at a couple of them, and as it happened they went beautifully with some new jewellery from Aisling.

Lady of the Castle

I am feeling knackered after a jumping lesson on a horse that must have a fair bit of sloth mixed into its genes. Whew. But even so, I managed to stage a little scene to show off the latest gown from Senzafine together with some furnishings from Noble Creations. And I dragged on Ran to do double duty as photographer and pretty prop.
