Compared to when I started out in SL, it seems like silks—at least as they looked then—have become quite a bit less common. That does not mean that Gorean fashion has disappeared, however. But it looks like it has changed and diversified, and now it includes saucy little numbers like this Panther outfit from Haven Designs.

The Nomad outfit features an itty-bitty top with string ties in front, an even smaller bottom piece, a short cape and a belt with a leather pouch. It comes in several colours, with either fur or snakeskin to go with the battered leather pieces, and this is the black fur version. In addition to the regular colours there is also a recolour for RFL in pink…I’ll try not to say anything about Pink Panthers. ;)
I particularly like the cape and its collar, as well as the texturing of the leather which looks quite worn and distressed. And the belt with the pouch is a great finishing touch.
I had some trouble finding appropriate footwear for this outfit, but then I dug out some pieces from a full outfit from Tekeli-li, including a pair of boots and some gloves and arm guards. That should make this girl ready for some rough times. The skin is PXL’s July and the hair is the fabulous Dive from Analog Dog.
