With thanks to Tanith Lee for the title, which fits so well on this post about the new metallic skins from Adam n Eve. The girls got Gold and Chrome last week and today the boys got not only that but also Black and White. And, of course, those colours will be coming out for girls quite soon too.
On Freyja:

Aren’t these cool? They really do look like Ran and I have taken a dip in liquid metal. I haven’t been out of the black one (my favourite) since sachi dropped it on me, and I have found that it is an excellent low-lag solution for faires, sales, bunny auctions and other crowded situations. ;)
If you look more closely at the left-most image, you’ll notice some additional details; the female skins come in two versions, one PG and one “sex model” for those android fantasies.
Not only is there a body variation for us girls, but each metal comes in 12 different faces for the girls and 4 different faces for the guys. Some of the options for girls are more makeup-like, but my favourites are probably the more unusual ones like Scarlet (awesome on the black, in particular) and Stripe. The variations are a bit more subtle on the male skins; Ran is using Visor and Natural, I believe.
