A Thorny Situation

All-prim “clothing”, or perhaps decorations is a better term, is one of my little weaknesses in SL. Given that my shapes tend to differ from the SL standard a bit, it might seem a little odd, but I am stubborn. And really, as long as everything can be modified, editing can work quite well.

And sometimes, as with this lovely body vine from AtomicBambi, you don’t need to do that much editing either.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: July LT CE Red by PXL
Hair: Juliette Twilight by Exile
Accessories: Body Vine Rapture Red by AtomicBambi
Poses: LAP

The Rapture body vine (here shown in ruby, but available in several other colours, including a gold and a black that tempted me) consists of 7 different prims. The prims can either be modified via edit or via a prim resizer. In most cases, a little subtle position shifting goes a long way. On the whole, I found the prims quite well-placed and easy to work with.

The texturing is quite nice, especially on the leaves. The roses could have had a little more texture to them when you look close up, but the overall effect is very nice. If you look up close you might also note some thorns that look like they’d be in very uncomfortable places, owwvie. But, that’s the price of beauty.

The vines wind around your body to cover the essential bits, so technically you could take a stroll in this outfit. Of course, if someone turns off prims you’re rather naked underneath. ;)

The pretty and not very covered up skin is July from PXL, the romantic hair is Juliette from Exile and today’s pose selection is from LAP. And speaking of poses, I am waiting very eagerly for the Pose Fair opening April 2nd. I am on a bit of a props kick, so I will be on the lookout for some more additions, and of course you can never have too many poses for blogging.
