Here in Sweden we’re having a typical Swedish summer. Which today included a rather impressive fog which made for some cool scenery down at the beach but didn’t exactly invite to subathing and swimming. So, it seemed like an excellent day for a post featuring a Summer of Love item: the Mosaic Summer skins from Nomine.
The Summer of Love is an event designed to raise awareness about mental health issues. It features exclusive content by a wealth of designers and the idea is that shoppers will be able to browse through what is on offer at the fair location and at the same time learn about mental health issues. The fair is not a charity event, though designers can choose to donate to Hopeline if they so wish.

The Mosaic skin line from Nomine is one I have previously reviewed, but these Summer skins are quite different from the rest of the line. To start with they feature a brand-new tone and quite a bit of added gloss to simulate a body oil. This girl is clearly serious about her sunbathing and plans to get nicely toasted during her vacation. I really like how the strong contrasts on the skin work so well with this Windlight setting; it seems to work better than more subtle skins, actually.
The fresh, lemony bikini is the Ringed Bikini from Adam n Eve. It also comes with a sculpted wrap around the hips, but that didn’t work so well with seated poses.

Of course, unless one has a nice, private beach, a good dose of sun bathing tends to leave one dressed in a permanent white bikini. In consideration of this each Summer makeup comes with two bodies, one with and one without tan lines.
Nomine also has another release out for the Summer of Love fair, the Sharkbite Swimsuit. Do check it out as well, its summer fun of the darker variety.
The Summer of Love fair runs until August 8th, so make sure to set aside some time to visit before then. Its a fairly small venue, so you won’t need your walking shoes, but its packed with designers so do come prepared to do some serious browsing.
