It has been a while since I featured something from Tekeli-li. In part this is due to Tekeli Tantalus having been kept busy changing many of his releases to take advantage of the scripting improvements introduced some months ago. This means that although still fully colour change, the updated sets of jewelry, hair, weapons, etc now use much less memory and won’t be a problem when script limits are introduced.
With all the updated of old sets finally taken care of (some older sets were retired, and some of these will be remade and rereleased at a later date), yesterday saw the release of a new full set of full-prim goodness: Flora.

The Flora collection includes a full jewelry set with headpiece, necklace, bracelets and earrings, a bikini top, a belt (with and without flexi attachment) and a hairstyle. Of course, you don’t have to buy or wear the whole collection, but it does go together very well. Whenever possible you get the pieces preset to several attachment points, so that you can easily wear all of them together.
And, of course, as always the pieces are very, very affordable considering the workmanship and the versatility. You can create a ridiculous amount of colour combinations out of these pieces.

As the name suggests this set has a floral theme. It also incorporates butterflies, so I decided to head over to the lovely Ode sim to shoot these pictures. I tried to setup the colours of the set to match the surroundings, putting the two metals to copper and bronze and the gems to lightpink and turquoise.

One caveat: the bikini top and the belt are of course full prim “clothing” and as such will not fit all shapes. But, everything is both mod and copy and I found it quite easy to fit them to my shape.
Worth noting is also that the belt does not come with any clothing layers at all, so if you don’t want to flash people when you walk, you may want to slip on some discrete underwear. Or not. ;)
