It was a gown that first brought me to Adam n Eve soon after I started out in SL. I saw the Venetia gown on a blog and knew I had to save up for that. Lately, sachi has been busy with skins, store rebuilds and various other projects, so it has been some time since she last released a gown. This week, however, she’s rectified that with no less than three new gowns, each with multiple skirt options and some great sculpted details.

My favourite is probably Angelina, because it is a bit more costumey than the other two. The short skirt is also quite flirty, being entirely made from lace and cut quite high on the sides. The long skirt (not shown) essentially combines the short piece with longer prims, taking full advantage of the sculpted drapery about the waist. The pattern at the front is a lovely butterfly pattern and the gown is available in pastels and black.

The second gown is Amelia, which features a beautiful tartan pattern on the bodice and on the skirt as well as another sculpted sash variant. The top has a fairly modern cut and yet there’s a bit of oldfashioned romance to this dress. As with Angelina there is a selection of skirts; two different long skirts and a short skirt.

Finally we have the Rose gown which features a very dramatic neckline and some stunningly crisp and detailed embroidery. And just look at the lovely, satiny sheen of the fabric. This could be a gown for that special dinner, and once again you do get several skirts, including one very short little thing.
All gowns can be demoed at Adam n Eve, and that fact sure helped draw me in for that first gown purchase at Adam n Eve when I was new. Once you have a demo of a pretty gown in your inventory its hard to avoid getting the real thing.
My skin for all these photos is SjORs from Dutch Touch, the lovely windblown hair is Leslie from Exile and the jewelery is from Mandala.
