The Purity of Snow

I do like an excuse to get naked save for some jewellery. In this case the excuse consists of Launa Fauna’s special Lapine skin for the thought-provoking Melt installation and Siyu Suen’s first new release for the Accessory Fair.

Style Notes & Slurls

Skin: Lapine Snow Fae Melt by L.Fauna
Hair: Amanda White B by Magika
Accessories: Orinthia Puro by Illusions

I’ve tried the Lapine line from Launa Fauna several times, but while I really like the body shading (especially on the palest regular skin tone) and the range of makeups, the face has seemed a little too sweet for my tastes regardless of which shape I’ve tried it on. This time, though, I liked what I saw when I tried the demo. I think the gorgeous melting ice patterning really changes the feel of the skin, plus it is so well done and such a striking look that I had to have it. I am really impressed by how the pattern flows across the seams on the mesh.

The lovely necklace (and the earrings that peek out amongst the hair from Magika) is the Orinthia Puro release from Illusions, a simpler version of the original Orinthia set (which I also love). It is scripted for colour changing with 6 different metals and 12 different stones, all quite beautiful.

Both the Melt installation and the Accessory Fair opened this weekend, so they are quite laggy so far. But, they will be running for a few weeks each, so you will have plenty of time to check them out.
