I’m A Let You Finish

Skin and Shape Expo is entering its last days, and it’s a great time to hop on over and browse. It’s been a wonderful experience to see so many excellent skin and shape designers on one sim, and—

Yo, Taylor. I’m really happy for you…

Maddox DuPont’s shape, Kanye, for Adam n Eve’s Tyberius skin takes it in a totally different direction from other shapes I’ve seen (and made) for the skin. I can’t quite pin it down. Perhaps it’s the nose and general structure of the face, which strikes me as handsome without pushing the obvious masculine qualities of the skin in your face. The shape is to match, with the famous MADesigns sense of proportions which provide a stylized example of male beauty. The shape brings out some of the best qualities of the skin, as can be seen in the close-up; those abs and the chest look terrific in the shape, and there’s a real depth and charm to the structure of the face.

I’ve stuck to MADesigns for hair and eyes as well, featuring both the Chris Winter and the James. The Chris series of hat-and-hair attachments are quite cool, with a well-sculpted hat with a few different texture options. Perfect for that blustery fall day when you want a little something keeping your head warm.  Maddox makes great, stylish hair, and pushes some of the boundaries when it comes to trying to give hair a natural look. It’s a rare talent ... not dissimilar to that of icemoloco Voom of the venerable Muism. I’ve had a few Muism pieces before, but a 50% off sale currently ongoing was not something to be missed.

Muism’s flexi coats have long set the standard in SL, and with even the meanest resident able to afford something like this beautiful single-breasted blazer, well, there’s no excuse not to own one. The prims come in multiple sizes, and are of course mod/copy, so fitting them perfectly to any reasonably-proportioned avatars should be a cinch. I’ve stuck to a casual look, and given that it’s turning quite chilly out here in northern Europe, the Cable turtleneck sweater from Adam n Eve was a perfect match; there’s a number of subtle colors available at their store, to fit any palette. Brr, I can feel the chill now just thinking about the wind outside…

Sorry for that interruption folks!  (For those wondering, Maddox named the Kanye shape before the MTV Video Music Awards.) Check out the expo, and check out MADesigns, Adam n Eve, and Muism while you’re in the mood to look around.
