Sophisticated and oh so elegant, Ava is my favourite of the new N2 skins from Blowpop, just as she was my favourite from the Infinity line. The main reason for this is that she’s such a fabulous fit for one of my favourite shapes, based on my written description of a long-running roleplay character. That shape has not been easy to fit into most skins on SL, but I really like how she looks in Ava.
With Ava I am, once more, wearing one of the new hairs from Adam n Eve. This one is called Jervaise, and it is available in the store rather than just at Hair Fair. It is one of 19 new hairs that sachi released just before Hair Fair, after creating brand-new textures and retiring all of her existing hairs.
Ava shares a body with Maya and Carmen, so what has been said about them in my reviews of those skins in terms of shading and texturing applies here as well. In short, its a fabulous body, really brought to life by Annyka’s meticulous hand-painting. Ava’s four tones, which range from light (but not really pale) to a fairly dark tan, really show off the detailing very well. I am very fond of those breasts and that bottom.

Ava’s face for me is just pure sophistication and classical beauty, with refined and elegant features. I must admit, though, that I do miss the stronger cheek-shading from the original Ava in the Infinity line, since that really brought out the cheekbones on this shape. High, sharp cheekbones and bold noses are favourite features of mine, and it isn’t always easy to find skins in SL that play well with those. But, as I said, this version of Ava really works for me on this shape too, and overall I think the softer, more polished shading is a big step forward.
Like Maya and Carmen, Ava is offered in six makeups, each with two lipstick options. Ava has some really dramatic eyes to offer, as well as satiny-smooth lips in several gorgeous hues.
Ava is priced at L$ 900 for each makeup (with both variations included) or L$ 3600 for all six.
