The clothes, hair and skin for this post came together piece by piece of the last few days. First Silent Sparrow released the Moonchild Suite, and I just had to have at least one colour. Then I spotted a new hair from Bishwear, and decided to check it out even though I thought the store was one with hair modifiable only with a resizer. Turns out that isn’t the case, so then the hair quickly ended up in my inventory. Finally, Sin Skins announced a half-off sale on their 2.0 line, and I decided to check it out once more. Funny how easily one drops L$ 1000 when it is done in four chunks of L$ 250…

Clothes: Moonchild Suite Copper by Silent Sparrow
Accessories: Babii Black by Adam n Eve

We’ll start with a closer look at the Moonchild Suite, here shown in copper. As with all of hyasynth’s outfits, it comes with a variety of options. The top can be long- or short sleeved, there’s gloves and arm warmers, the skirt can be worn with and without the little ruff and the ruff can also be worn with capris. Finally, there’s a cute lingerie set consisting of a bra and panties.
Oh, and should any gentlemen (or ladies who don’t fancy a skirt) find the texturing of Moonchild appealing, there is also a Moonchild Suit available.

The hair from Bishwear, called Yesenia, is long and flowing without being huge and poofy. In fact, it is very sleek and very sexy. The way it frames the face, and the way the curls fall, is just gorgeous. I just wish the packs included a few variant colours; as it is, I went with just the black because none of the reds were quite right. The textures are very well done, however.
The skins I have been featuring lately have all tended towards the rather photoreal end, and while I love those dearly I sometimes find that a less strongly shaded skin such as this skin from the 2.0 Collection by Sin Skins can be quite appealing. Not the least together with the wonderful textures of Silent Sparrow clothing, which seems to lend itself very well to creating a look that is more like a painting than a photo.
There are 8 tones to choose from (this is the very palest, which I tend to be drawn to when it comes to these types of skins) and 28 makeups per tone. Right now, and until Monday the 13th, they are on sale for L$ 250, 50% off the regular price.
If you’re done hunting eggs and bunnies, or whatever else Easter might entail (for me it has been stuffing myself at a traditional Swedish Easter lunch with entirely too many dishes), how about some shopping in SL to wind down? I definitely suggest you at least make a visit to Sin Skins before Monday.
