The set, called the Avila Snake Set, consists of a necklace, a bracelet and a pair of earrings. The red shown here is the colour of the RL signature piece, but there are also five other colours on sale (in SL as well as in RL) and I am thinking the black may find its way to my inventory as well. The blue and green were also very nice.

The look that it is supposed to reproduce is one of enamelwork on silver, and I think it is a very successful SL-interpretation of this. The detailing on the set is quite fantastic, and I would suggest stopping by the store to check out the rezzed copy on display there. I also have to note that the fit of the set is excellent. Its very rare for me to put on a set of jewellery for the first time and not need to move pieces around a lot. Here, the fit was close to perfect out of the box. But even if it isn’t for you, no worries, because the set is copy and mod.

In these closeups (click on the pictures to open up the larger size) the detailing of the scales and the great fit of the pieces can hopefully be seen a little more clearly. Its a very elegant, eyecatching set, great to add something extra to any outfit with, from modern clothing to fantasy clothing and perhaps even to some period wear.
